■About Edit LOGLOG

App highlights

Edit LOGLOG is an iOS app designed so you can casually edit videos and create vlogs.

• Simple design with plenty of whitespace
• Intuitive controls
• Register your own LUTs and adjust to your preferred color tone

Why I built it

I got hooked on making vlogs after discovering that you can shoot logs and apply LUTs to create cinematic footage. At the time I used apps like Liit, but when I wanted to make vlogs by combining short clips (like the recent "setlog" trend), I couldn’t find an app that really fit.

What I didn’t like, mainly:

• The editing screen is too busy and information-dense, which is tiring
• Low flexibility because it assumes a specific workflow
  • e.g., shoot on iPhone → pick clips → create
• When you register many LUTs, it becomes hard to find the one you want

To tackle these issues, I started developing a video editing / vlog creation app.

After lots of trial and error, I feel it has reached a satisfying level of quality.
